Terms and Conditions Kinder- en Jeugdtherapie Wereldkind

1. General

1.1 Kinder- en Jeugdtherapie Wereldkind was founded by D.M.J. Rongen, established in Bunde and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 64856380.

1.2 In these general terms and conditions the name Kinder- en Jeugdtherapie Wereldkind means the owner of the practice: D.M.J. Rongen.

2. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all oral and written tenders and agreements of or with the Praktijk Kinder- en Jeugdtherapie Wereldkind and all related actions, both preparatory and executive, insofar as these conditions have not been expressly deviated from in writing.

3. Implementation and realization of the treatment agreement

3.1. A treatment agreement is concluded at the time that the contract signed by the client and the therapist for agreement has been received by the therapist.

3.2 For children under the age of 16, if applicable, both authoritative parents must agree to the treatment. Both parents must sign the treatment agreement. Both parents ensure that the other parent is informed about the guidance and treatment and gives his / her permission for this. He / she agrees that, if the other parent makes any objections to the therapy or otherwise, he / she will take the consequences. Kinder- en Jeugdtherapie Wereldkind can not be held responsible for this.

3.3. The treatment agreement is based on the information that the client has provided to the therapist at the time of concluding the treatment agreement.

3.4. The treatment agreement is entered into for an indefinite period of time, unless agreed otherwise.

4. Liability

4.1 Kinder- en Jeugdtherapie Wereldkind is never liable for direct or indirect damage or injury resulting from or in connection with the services offered, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Praktijk Kinder- en Jeugdtherapie Wereldkind

4.2 Compensation to the client and / or contractor can never amount to more than the covering compensation according to the liability insurance of the contractor.

5. Sessions

5.1 The sessions take place in Kinder- en jeugdtherapie Wereldkind, Clauslaan 1-A, 6241 GK Bunde. The sessions last 60 minutes (including the time to make a new appointment).

5.2 There is no waiting area in practice. This means that the parent brings the child and picks up after the session at the agreed time.

5.3 The parents must be available by telephone during the session. During a parent interview (evaluation or final interview), the progress regarding the child are discussed at length.

6. Confidentiality and confidentiality

6.1 Everything that is discussed between the therapist and the child during the sessions is confidential.

6.2 In parent meetings the course of the sessions is discussed, but not the content, unless the child has explicitly given his permission.

6.3 Only when there is danger for the child or others, information will be made public to third parties.

6.4 Consultation with third parties is always first consulted and permission is requested from the parents / carers.

6.5 Kinder- en jeugdtherapie Wereldkind is obliged to adhere to: Child abuse reporting code & Domestic violence reporting code

7. Cancellation

7.1 If the session is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance by e-mail or telephone, no costs will be charged.

7.2 When cancelling within 24 hours, the costs are the regular session rate.

7.3 Promptly rescheduling an appointment is always possible and can be done by telephone or by e-mail.

8. Rates and Payment Terms

8.1. Rates are VAT-free. 

8.2. Rate changes are announced at least a month in advance.

8.3. Invoicing takes place monthly, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8.4. The level of the rate or payment of the invoice does not depend on the outcome of the therapy.

8.5. Invoices must be paid by the client no later than 7 days after the invoice date by transfer to account number NL76 RABO 0308373812 Kinder- en Jeugdtherapie Wereldkind.

8.6 If payment is not made within the agreed time, you will receive a payment reminder. This must be paid within 8 days.

8.7. The costs for a second reminder and the costs for handing over the claim are entirely for the account of the parent (in accordance with the law).

8.8 In case of payment arrears, Kinder- en jeugdtherapie Wereldkind is entitled to suspend further treatment until the payment obligation has been met.

8.9. Invoices are sent by mail.

9.1 Kinder- en jeugdtherapie Wereldkind keeps a file for personal use. Only the data that is necessary for guidance and support is kept in the file.

10. Law and disputes

10.1 Dutch law applies to all legal relationships between the client and the contractor.
